No Drip Umbrella
Too many lines for a sonnet…….comments?
Oceans frothy white-tipped curls
Recede to deeper darker hues
Then gather strength in sullen swells
To crash on beach of broken shells
While dancing in the aftermath
I see no hint of Neptune’s wrath
In this, the peaceful ocean tide
Where Summers float and Winters hide
The never tiring endless wave
Of memories from this is made
As stretched beneath umbrella stand
While lazy fingers sift through sand
Thoughts float past like drifting cloud
Too wispy to be said out loud
As daylight melts from dripping sun
Each moment lives within this one
I all of a sudden feel like a Corona.
